In the walls of the city: Ferrara Five stories

A collection of short stories "In the walls of the city" — the first of the books of the Italian writer Giorgio Bassani (1916-2000), entered into a cycle of works under the title "Ferrara romance". The present edition is a revised version of the "Ferrara Five stories" (1956). For the publishing house "the Text" this is the second book with: in 2008, "Text" released novel "the Garden of Finzi-Contini", which is also part of Ferrara cycle.
