He is a Master who created a whole galaxy of images: Shakespeare, from hamlet to Lear, and diametrically opposed - Dzerzhinsky and Faust, don Giovanni and uncle adeeva. Master put the cult film "Pokrovsky gates" and the finest drama "Masquerade". Master wrote ironic and achingly honest book about time and about himself - "sand Drawings" and "Third call".
